New Competition Zone!

Hello LinkyCrafters!

Today, I have just released a new "Competitions" part of the site! This area will allow you to enter competitions, free of charge, and be in for the chance of some huge benefits!

Our current competition is a "Screenshot Competition". Post your best screenshots of the server and get them displayed on the homepage, and on PlanetMinecraft!

First place gets $50,000

Second place gets $25,000

Third place gets $10,000

(In Game Cash)

Hello LinkyCrafters!

I have just updated to the new "Vote for Diamonds" script, which means that we now have a new, Top Voters system; and easier, simpler rewards.

The new system is much more secure and reliable; and at the end of every month, we will introduce a reward system for the Top Voters!

First Place: Free rank upgrade!

Second Place: $15,000 In game cash!

Third Place: $5000 In game cash!

Remember to vote daily! Who would want to waste a chance for great rewards?

Also, there are a few new updates!

- New chatrooms!

Donor Chat - /ch donor

Builder Chat - /ch build

Staff Chat - /ch staff

- New Vote for Diamonds tutorial at /diamond

- Auto-Broadcast system is back!

* Staff members will not get ranked up, if they are in the top three, we will go to the next normal player/

Recently we started our major mission working on the server. We set ourselves a checklist of what needed to be done, and when we wanted it done by. During this time, we wanted a complete refreshment of the untouched ranks and permissions, and wished for more fun plugins to be added!

Donor Ranks:

We knew the ol' donor ranks where getting slightly dusty, and so we decided to touch them up! Many people where complaining at the fact that their benefits didn't work on the server, although paid for! A few months ago, we set up our site shopping system, allowing for a much cleaner environment around the shop, and a much easier way to pay! You now get your site rewards automatically, and can be promoted in minutes by a staff member in-game.

To add to the fun of the old donor ranks, we removed a few, so that more benefits could be added for each rank. This meant reducing the amount of ranks from about 13, to 7. They also now follow a new payment system, which goes like so; 10, 25, 50, 80, 100, 150 and 300. This allows for much cleaner purchases, and allows the staff to remain knowledgeable of the ranks. If you where on a rank which is being removed, we have rounded you UP to the next rank. I will be updating the shop system and the benefits page in the next few days.

Plugins:

A few new plugins have been added to enhance your in-game experience. Including: Trails (Leave a glowing, smoking or flaming effect where ever you decide to roam!); A new mining plugin (To stop the boredom of mining, experience gas explosions deep underground, and witness the underground special FX!); MobDisguise (Disguise yourself as any mob, and roam around bawking like a chicken, or scaring your friends with a creeper explosion); and many more! A few of these plugins are exclusive to donors and higher ranks, allowing for you to all have more benefits!

Themed Areas:

This is something I, and staff members have been working on for a little while. I got the idea after a recent trip to a theme park, and loved the way certain areas where themed around certain things. As forth, I decided it would be awesome to have some minigames with the assistance of our upcoming plugin, MobArena. These areas will all be themed to some sort of story, and will have promotional videos created around their style. We want to eliminate the need for you to be watched by a staff member throughout, and we want you to be able to join in on all the fun with your friends, whenever you wish!

Your worst nightmare underground, said to be a terrifying attraction. Travel through an abandoned mine in an old cart, defending yourself from the deadly creatures which lie below. In an intense ride experience, remember to come prepared!

Voting Module:

Almost done here now, we are just waiting on a Top Voters list, and to get the cookies working. Other than that though, it works fine!

I want to start by giving a huge thank-you to all our donors! You have successfully gotten us to $1000! I could not thank you more.

I also want to give a big hand to our staff, and our players. We could not have got through everything that we have without you!

Lets keep breaking records and going up the ranks!

We have been through so much over what is now almost a year. It really doesn't feel like it when I look back! I also want to thank wtsb, ~Alex and LInkrock4 for being here since the very beginning. Wtsb was our first mod, and is now Manager! It just shows what can be done in one year!

We are also #7 on GTOP100, vote now!
